Song of the Day: Youth Lagoon - Posters

This seems to be a new big thing, it's pretty good. Also, Fantastic Planet for some reason.

Song of the Day: War On Drugs - Your Love Is Calling My Name

This album is pretty good , this is the truth.

Song of the Day: Key Losers - Bi Focal

Katy Davidson (of Dear Nora)'s new band Key Losers has an album out and let me tell you I am excited.

Song of the Day: Pia Fraus - Springsister

Way to go Estonia.

Song of the Day: Fishboy - Minus Two

Getting excited for touring.

Song of the Day: Beirut - East Harlem

This year has been pretty blah for new music but the new beirut is pretty alright.

Song of the Day: Yacht - Shangri-la

Expect a summer jams 2011 mix soon. expect it.

song of the Day: Suffering Season - Woods

Woods are, I think, one of the best bands of the last few years. About a year ago I was in Barcelona and it was raining late at night and i walked to the beach and back listening to this album. they have a new one coming out, which is good news for everyone.

Song of the Day: A Sunny Day In Glagow - Drink Drank Drunk

I don't think people liked A Sunny Day In Glasgow's last album enough.

Song of the Day: Lower Dens - Tea Lights

As I type this it's gray and gloomy outside, hopefully by the time it goes up it won't suddenly be sunny and warm or this will seem terribly out of place. Or maybe not. Sometimes I get so caught up in finding obscure music I've never heard before that I forget that is so much great stuff currently being made.

update: Evidently that was it took for the storm to pass.
